When the mercury plunges, the excitement heats up! Sno-Do (pronounced "snow dough") is a cross-country snowmobile fundraiser held each February in Ontario, Canada. More than 30 Junior Civitan district governors and international officers from the United States and Canada solicit pledges before making the journey. All proceeds benefit the Civitan International Foundation and its flagship project, the UAB Civitan International Research Center. The event raises approximately $70,000 each year and has raised almost $1.5 million since its inception.
